Frits Baker is chairman of the Netherlands Council for the Judiciary in The Hague. He studied law at the University of Groningen and went on to earn his PhD from the same university. He started his career in the Dutch Judiciary in 1979 when he entered the training programme for judges at the Breda district court. In 1991 he was appointed Vice-President of the Haarlem district court, where he became President in 1999. In 2008 Frits Bakker was appointed President of the district court in The Hague. He joined the Council for the Judiciary on 1 July 2012 and he was appointed Chairman of the Council on July 1, 2013.
Frans van Dijk is director of the Netherlands Council for the Judiciary in The Hague, while Ymkje Lugten is in the policy support staff of the Council.

Henk Naves is President of the district court in the Dutch province of Gelderland (with courts in Arnhem and Zutphen). He has been appointed President of the district court in Amsterdam as of 1 July 2015.
Nathalie Vrijman is Chef de cabinet of the Procurator General at the Supreme Court in The Hague.

Julia Mendlik is a judicial member of the three person board of the district court Midden-Nederland (with courts in Utrecht, Almere and Lelystad) and project leader on standardising work processes in administrative law and civil law.
Herman van der Meer is President of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam. Before his appointment in Amsterdam in 2013, Van der Meer was President of the district court in Haarlem.
Peter Nihot is Chairman of the Department of Administrative Law at the district court Midden-Nederland.
