A contracting party (someone who is making a contract) can check the CCBR to find out if a person is under administration or guardianship. This information is published in the register to help people avoid signing the wrong kind of agreements.
Information about guardianship cases before 1996 may not be complete. If you want to find missing information, please contact your nearest courthouse.
The courts publish the information in the CCBR. Administrators make sure that administration orders are recorded in other public registers, for example in the Land Registry or the Commercial Register.
Organisations can use De Rechtspraak’s web service. You can use this service to make an automatic link between the CCBR and your own system.
You can use the register to download and save a copy of a registration or a statement that the person is not on the register.
