Parental Authority Register

The Parental Authority Register (gezagsregister) registers information about child custody. The Parental Authority Register is public. This means that anyone can request an excerpt from the Parental Authority Register.

You can apply for an excerpt from the Parental Authority Register from any court in the Netherlands.

How you can do so and how soon you will receive the copy varies from one court to another. Read the information provided by the court responsible for your area (in Dutch).
