The House of Representatives has approved two bills making provision for those accused of downing flight MH17 to stand trial in the Netherlands. The bills were passed with the support of every party in parliament. The legislation implements the agreement on international legal cooperation concluded by the Netherlands and Ukraine in July 2017.
De wetsvoorstellen die berechting van verdachten van het veroorzaken van de ramp met vlucht MH17 in Nederland mogelijk maken, zijn door de Tweede Kamer aanvaard. Alle partijen steunden de wetsvoorstellen, die betrekking hebben op het verdrag voor internationale, juridische samenwerking dat Nederland en Oekraïne in juli 2017 sloten.
