Last month, the Netherlands Commercial Court held a webinar on various elements that are important for lawyers to decide on a choice-of-forum: court litigation vs arbitration, neutrality of the court, applicable law, procedural rules and the differences and commonalities between English-speaking European courts. One of the lawyers in the first-ever case before the Netherlands Commercial Court shared her experiences. Lawyers from all over the world attended the webinar and actively participated.
